BB - 78 Rock Giraffe/Zurafa R145WB
|
Rock Giraffe/Zurafa overall is a reasonable beyblade purchase. First off the Rock Fusion Wheel is an outclassed defense wheel and produces a significant amount of recoil due to the protrusions of the wheel that cause this problem. It has also been rumored that there are three molds to Rock, which in most cases there is. Next is the R145 track. This is indeed one of the heaviest track up to date, the second heaviest to be exact, weighing at a whopping 4.7 grams. It is a track that is suppose to absorb attacks from low bey-attackers, which in some cases it does, but at the same time can deliver heavy blows to the beyblade attached to it. It has been since outclassed by C145, GB145, and BD145. Last but not least, the WB tip is pretty pure defense tip and is currently used as an excellent alternative to the top-tier defense tip, RS. Though when this tip is worn down, it will start acting up and move around the stadium at around an F tip speed, so it is recommended to rip it at around 70-75% power.
EVERY BLADER SHOULD OWN 2-3 OF THIS BEYBLADE (DEPENDING ON IF YOU ALREADY HAVE A WB TIP FROM ROCK LEONE), ASIDE FROM COLLECTION PURPOSES!!! My Recommendation Rate: 75% |
Energy Ring: Giraffe/Zurafa
Weight: 2.8 grams
The color of this energy ring is a transparent blend yellow color with orange details on each end that represents a sort of flame. This Energy Ring is oval-shaped with curve details, also with two notches sticking out, representing a giraffe's head which is Da Xiang Wang's partner in: Beyblade Metal Fusion Season 2, Metal Fight Beyblade Explosion Season 2, Beyblade Metal Masters. |
Fusion Wheel: Rock
Weight: 31.4 grams
The Rock Fusion Wheel has six large protrusions making the wheel. In between each one there is a small gap, and these gaps make contact, the wheel produces a significant amount of recoil due to the gaps. It also is one of the heavier metal wheels, however, as a a defense tip, it is unable to match the quantities of metal wheels such as Earth and Basalt, due to the shape of the wheel making contact with the opposing beyblade causing a significant amount of recoil, making this an outclassed defense wheel. |
Spin Track: R145 (Rubber 145)
Weight: 4.7 grams
This track is a very unique track as this beyblade, aside from other blades that possess their own part, in this case, Rock Giraffe owns the R145 track. This track is also on of the heaviest track, weighing at a whopping 4.7 grams, making it the second heaviest track there is, it's competitor, BD145. The track is shaped identical to WD145 and ED145, but the "wings" are made out of hard rubber and is spread wider and more evenly. The purpose of this track was to absorb attacks or blows from low attackers, which in some case it does, but not every time. Another is that the track is placement is placed so low that it allows it to scrape the stadium floor, resulting in severe stamina loss. Although this is supposingly to be a defense track, tracks like C145 and GB145 outclass it by low attackers. Although this sounds awkwardly bad, the heavy weight is somewhat beneficial against high attackers. Beyblades that have this part: Rock Giraffe R145WB |
Performance Tip: WB (Wide Ball)
Weight: 0.5 grams
The Wide Ball performance tip is essentially just like the B tip, but the surface is much wider as suggested with the name. As a result, It has better defensive capabilities then B because it has more surface contact between it and the stadium floor. However though, since it has a greater amount of space surface, it will move around more. This is a disadvantage against attack beyblades because the defense beyblade is closer to the stadium exits, increasing the chances of being K.O'd. To avoid this, people launch WB-based beyblades at 60%-70% power, meaning that the beyblade will stay at the center and at the same time have the defense capabilities of WB.
