BB - 91 Ray Gil 100RSF
Ray Gil overall is a decent beyblade purchase. First the Ray wheel is somewhat different than other Ray wheels as the second mold Ray that comes with Ray Gil had reduced the breakage problems of the first mold of Ray. The Ray Fusion Wheel also has some prominent smash attack and is a pretty good destablizer wheel, though still has been outclassed ever since by flame and L Drago. The 100 track is a low-profile track and seems to go well with attack type combos. There are much better alternatives to it though like 95 and 80. Finally the RSF tip is another unique tip that belongs and is only owned by Ray Gil. The RSF tip is considered a very good defense tip and WAS once a top-tier defense until RS came in and kicked it out of it's position. RSF has lacked in against left-spin type Beyblades and has shown to run out of stamina quite fast.
EVERY BLADER SHOULD OWN 2-3 OF THIS BEYBLADE, ASIDE FROM COLLECTION PURPOSES!!! My Recommendation Rate: 77% |
Energy Ring: Gil
Weight: 2.7 grams
The color of this energy ring is a translucent indigo color that has light blue designs going around the whole ring. One one side of the energy ring, there is bones of a dragon head, presenting Gil's head, and the other side showing skeletons of a dragon's tails, thus representing Gil's skeleton tail. The rest depicts the bones or body of the dragon. Also due to the ring being asymmetrical, this makes the energy ring have two different weights on each side, thus making it unbalanced and not recommended to be in any competitive combos., which is Argo's partner in: Beyblade Metal Fusion Season 2, Metal Fight Beyblade Explosion Season 2, Beyblade Metal Masters |
Fusion Wheel: Ray
Ray Fusion Wheel (Mold 1)Ray Fusion Wheel (Mold 2) |
Weight: 30.4 grams
Ray consists of three separated protrusions; the slight gaps between the protrusions on the outer part of the wheel provide it with Smash Attack. The gaps curve outwards more on the inner part of Ray. Each protrusion has a flat front with a tip slightly slanted upwards on the end. In the inside of Ray, the letters R-A-Y can be seen on the top of each protrusion. Every protrusion has two slightly squared dents that allow for stickers to be placed on them, with a total of six stickers that can be placed on the sides of the Wheel. Three more stickers can also be placed on the top of Ray. Ray has shown some prominent Smash Attack when placed at the 100 Track. However, WB is now outclassed, which leaves Ray to only be used against CS, RS or RSF based Defense types. Since Ray is unable to keep up with these said Defense types, Ray has become outclassed. |
Mold Variation
Ray has two different molds. The first mold was released in the Ray Unicorno D125CS Starter Set, and the second mold was released with the Ray Unicorno D125CS Aurora Version, the Ray Unicorno D125CS Booster Set, and Ray Gil100RSF. The second mold rectifies the original mold’s breakage problems, with the gaps between the second mold are slightly wider and are more rounded on the inner gaps of Ray than the original mold.
Spin Track: 100
Weight: 1.0 grams
The 100 track is currently the third lowest track up to date! it is very good for attack customizations as the attack beyblade can aim for the lower part of the beyblade making it lose balance!!! better choices are the 90 and 85 tracks Beyblades that have this part: Lightning L Drago 100HF, Cyber Pegasus 100HF, Capricorn/Capricorne, 100HF Fury Capricorn 100HF |
Performance Tip: RSF (Rubber Semi-Flat)
Weight: 0.7 grams
Another unique part that only Ray Gil owns. The RSF tip is essentially a sharp tip with a flattened rubber end. This tip has displayed both attack and defense qualities and moving in a more aggressive movement than a regular SF. RSF has been tested as a defense tip and shows excellent defense capabilities in tests because it moves much less than RF and R2F. It is really similar to RS in performance terms. Though it has drawbacks when it is versing a left spin attack type beyblade, it has shown major weaknesses, much like RS. It also lacks in stamina compared to WB, allowing plastic and also metal tips to out-spin it quite easily. It though has an advantage as a defense bottom too because it does not produce recoil due to the rubber. Between RSF and RS, RS has shown to be slightly better than RS, Thus buying RS would be the way to go, though RSF is an excellent alternative to it. Beyblades that have this part: Ray Gil 100RSF |
