BB - 88 Meteo L Drago LW105LF
Meteo L Drago overall is a good beyblade purchase. The energy ring and the fusion wheel, just like it's predecessor, Lightning L Drago 100HF, can only go together and are the only left spin beyblades, and is an upgraded version of Lightning L Drago, just like Galaxy Pegasus/Pegasis is the upgraded version of Storm Pegasus/Pegasis. What makes this bey unique though is that it has actually real rubber on the ring to absorb power from the opposing beyblade. The LW105 Spin Track is almost like the W105 track, but is suppose to create a updraft in the opposite direction, or a effect but spinning to the left. Finally the LF tip is a really unique tip because it is literally a R2F tip but in just plastic version. This tip will wear down eventually, but not as fast as it's rubber version of it, R2F. Though this may seem like a good thing, it does and will eventually wear down the indents that form the star shape of the tip.
EVERY BLADER SHOULD OWN 2-4 OF THIS BEYBLADE, ASIDE FROM COLLECTION PURPOSES!!! My Recommendation Rate: 82% |
Energy Ring: L Drago II
Weight: 6.3 grams
The L-Drago clear wheel features a few elements that other wheels, including the previous L-Drago wheel, don't. It has three Dragon-head designs surrounding the perimeter with rubber coaing on each of them to help reduce recoil and increase pain split. While its predesscor Lighning L-Drago may have been the only left spin bey at its time, L-Drago has been outclassed by means of Meteo and other left spin beys, as of now. Meteo's clear wheel can only be used with Meteo and sadly this is vice versa with Lightning. Alternatively you can place L-Drago II onto gravity, although this is not legal nor recommended in any type of customization. Both versions of L-Drago have a unique ability called mode change, which by turning it 180C you can switch between Barrage and Assault modes. This detailed version of L-Dragoshows teeth in between the clear wheel and metal wheel when in both modes. Some bladers consider this to have more spin stealing/absorbing abilities rather than smash attack. However, this does not mean that L-Drago is the only bey that can steal spin, tests have proven smoother wheels such as Earth can share spin as well, making energy transfer being a two way street. L-Drago's primary objective is to be an equalizer as energy transfer occurs beteen two opposite spinning beys until they are at similar RPM and whichever falls down after that is normally followed by the other right after it or at exactly the same time. Be that as it may, L-Drago II does it quite well, but the term zombie has been stretched so much the true meaning is lost. Other versions of the Clear wheel have been released, in the set; BB-98 Ultimate L-Drago Reshuffle Ver. Along with L-Drago Absorb, which is the standard L-Drago II clear wheel two other clear wheels have been released, by the names of L-Drago Rush Ver and Assault Ver which can be obtained from BB-98 L-Drago Ultitmate Re-shuffle Set, and the Beyblade Metal Masters Triple Battle Set (comes with exclusive yellow color), which is Ryuuga's partner in: -Beyblade Metal Masters -Beyblade Metal Fusion Season 2 -Metal Fight Beyblade Explosion Season 2 |
Fusion Wheel: Meteo
Weight; 28.3 grams
The Meteo Fusion Wheel has significant smash attack capability and is rumored to be a top-tier wheel for attack very soon and is hindered because of the track being too low and the energy ring having rubber, thus when making contact, it will sometimes hit the opposing blade with it's rubber on it's energy ring. This fusion wheel has three modes, just like it's predecessor, Lightning. The gold parts are what is called Barrage Mode, and the rest of the silver parts, are what is called assault mode. The fusion wheel also is only compatible with L Drago II energy ring. Currently Meteo has no particular and competitive uses. This also has been said that it is the first uncustomized beyblade to "steal spin" or "absorb spin", thus this is NOT true and is better suited as the ultimate equalizer due to the rubber parts on it's energy ring. Note: The L Drago II energy ring is compatible with the Gravity Fusion Wheel, but is not recommended. |
Spin Track: LW105 (Left Wing 105)
The LW105 track is another gimmick track, predecessors being W105 and 105 tracks. This track's gimmick was intentionally to create a downdraft or down force in the left spin direction as this was meant with L Drago, but the effect is negligible and is a useless track due to it's low height so no or barely any blades could hit it. However, it is also to stabilize the beyblade in the left direction, but once again, the effect is not noticeable. This track has no use in competitive battles.

Performance Tip: LF (Left Flat)
Weight: 0.7 grams
Left Flat is a plastic version of the R2F, which is Rubber. It has six protrusions facing the anti-clockwise direction, giving it it's name for left and having a flat bottom. Since this tip is plastic, it is too have less friction but have a greater amount of stamina, and this is one of the fastest plastic bottoms available when launched at full power. Though this may sound like a good thing, it actually isn't cause it then at the same time will have less grip which makes the beyblade that has this part, get knocked out quite easily. When this part is spun in the right direction, there is no or barely any difference between it, and is very hard to use the technique called "slide shoot" or have the flower-like pattern due to it being plastic and it's pointed nature. This tip once again mentioned previously is one of the fastest plastic bottoms available and can be an excellent alternative of the absence of R2F. |
