BB - 80 Gravity Perseus/Destroyer AD145WD
Gravity Perseus (Takara-Tomy)Gravity Destroyer (Hasbro) |
Gravity Perseus overall is a good beyblade purchase. The energy ring is very unique and is one of a kind, just like any L Drago energy ring, it can only be connected to the Gravity Wheel! (It can also be connected the Meteo Fusion Wheel which is very odd but works!) The Gravity wheel seems to lack in defense, but has a lot of attack potential due to the wheel's shape, almost like a much bigger version of the rock wheel, due to this it also produces a significant amount of recoil! The AD145 track is another unique track and Perseus is the only blade to own this track! It is considered a very stamina type and is considered to be a very good stamina track due to the its funnel - like shape which spreads out the weight evenly giving it a good duration of spin duration! The WD tip is a very wide version of the D tip and has much more defense capabilities than the D tip. Though this is an advantage, it has since been outclassed by other performance tips like WB and RS!
EVERY BLADER SHOULD OWN 2-4 OF THIS BEYBLADE, ASIDE FROM COLLECTION PURPOSES!!! My Recommendation Rate: 93% |
Energy Ring: Perseus/Destroyer
Weight: 2.8 grams
The Gravity Energy Ring is black with purple designs in between each dragon head. It is very unique and features three dragon heads. This energy ring has no plastic that blocks the prongs from the left and right launchers from attaching. This is necessary as it allows the beyblade to spin in both left and right directions and only this beyblade has it! Also like it's similarities between it and the L Drago Energy Rings, it is needed to be turned at a 180 degrees to result in different modes. The dragon heads are considered protrusions which are layered in a triangular shape. Those protrusions allows it's capabilities to switch from "Defense" mode and "Counter" mode, and it is asymmetrical. This energy ring can only be used with the Gravity Fusion Wheel.NOTE: This energy ring can also be combined with the Meteo Wheel, but it is NOT recommended as it makes it a even worse beyblade overall + is illegal playing in tournaments + Increases breakage to the energy ring, Which is Julius's Partner in Beyblade Metal Masters/Metal Fight Beyblade Explosion Season 2. |
Fusion Wheel: Gravity
Weight: 33.8 grams
The Gravity Wheel is literally a larger version of the rock fusion wheel and produces much much more recoil than rock because of it's largeness and the similarity between it and rock. Also the Gravity Wheel can only be used with the Perseus Energy Ring and has four modes to it: 1. Right Spin Defense Mode 2. Left Spin Defense Mode 3. Right Spin Counter Mode 4. Left Spin Counter Mode Though the recoil it produces is pretty significant, it is considered to be a very devastating attack type wheel by using the 6 indents, which the energy ring fits into. When the energy ring fits into the sockets and when the sticker is visible, it is in "Defense" mode, because this reduces the contact points of the three. When Perseus is out of it's sockets and overcovers the three stickers on each side of the wheel, it is in "Counter" mode, which has six contact points, thus giving it a stronger and consistent attacks due to the number of protrusions it has plus the recoil it produces. The protrusions are recommended to be put into right spin Counter mode, it is a very good smash attacker and can be considered one of the better attack wheels out there! But of the recoil it produces, it very lacks in defense and stamina due to just that! This is a TOP - TIER wheel for Attack, check the Customization Section for good combos |
Spin Track: AD145 (Armor Defense 145)
Weight: 2.8 grams
The AD145 track is a one of a kind track as Gravity Perseus is the only beyblade to own this special track, it is purplish - black and is in a shape of a funnel, completely round with ridges lining the sides all the way around. Despite it's name suggests, it lacks in defense and has since been outclassed by tracks like 230 and GB145, and it diminutive nature when compared to 230, making it unable to absorb attacks as effectively as 230. However, due to it's lightweight and outward distribution of weight, it is considered a top - tier stamina track

Performance Tip: WD (Wide Defense)
Weight: 0.7 grams
The WD tip is the widest defense tip in the defense series. This brings several different advantages, but at the same time, some disadvantages. Because of it's massive width that reaches the edge of the tip's perimeter, this will let the tip wobble at a significantly larger angle and for a longer time than D and SD, but at a lower spin rate(called lunging). This type of feature can have numerous advantages in battle, let's say two stamina blades battle, and for instance say a Burn Fireblaze, both blades are about to topple over and the beyblade with the WD bottom will get knocked out of the stadium pretty easily due to wooblying at such a big angle, more friction is made with the stadium floor, hence decreasing stamina. Occasionally, this is a good thing as it starts lunging it the beyblade will possess the power to knock out a opponent's beyblade due to the amount of force in the lunge and some other stuff. WD has some pretty good defense capabilities, but because it uses a similar format as the sharp bottom, the friction is decreased, making the beyblade that it is attached to it get knock around pretty easily compared to WB which has no sharp tip of any kind. Also the WD tip has pretty good stamina compared to WB and with some rare cases be an advantage, but with WB more often doesn't have the right amount of stamina to outlast an attack or stamina.
