BB - 60 Earth Virgo GB145BS
Beyblade Metal Masters: Earth Virgo |
Earth Virgo overall is a great beyblade purchase. First off, the Earth Fusion Wheel is probably the best metal wheel to get currently with the Hasbro Releases. Secondly, it has very great stamina and defense capabilities. Next the Track, the GB145 track is a very good track for defense and is currently the third heaviest track released with Hasbro, Takara-Tomy is unknown. It also has decent stamina abilities. Finally the BS tip is the let down to this blade, though this may suffer issues balancing, it still has decent stamina, making it worthwhile and good purchase.
EVERY BLADER SHOULD OWN 2-4 OF THIS BEYBLADE, ASIDE FROM COLLECTION PURPOSES!!! My Recommendation Rate: 88% |
Energy Ring: Virgo
Fusion Wheel: Earth
Weight: 31 grams
|
The earth wheel has four thick, textured wings surrounding it's perimeter, with each pair facing each other on a slight incline. The space in between each are very small, resulting in less or no recoil at all. Although this fusion wheel is on the lighter side of the wheels compared to others, it's almost unperturbed circular design, and minimal recoil make it one of the best, and if not, defense-oriented wheel currently available for competitive competitions and play.
In some cases or most I should say, this can be used as a EXCELLENT alternative Stamina Customization compared to the Burn Fusion Wheel |
Mold Variations
The earth wheel has two different molds to it. The first mold was released with the BB-47 Starter Earth Aqulia 145WD. The second mold was released in both the WBBA "EVENT SPECIAL" MF Earth Aqulia 105HF/S, and the company SONOKONG manufactured Earth Fusion Wheels. However, TAKARA-TOMY has ceased since making the chances much much harder to obtain. The second mold was addressed breaking problems that the original mold faced by modifying the inside of the wheel on each "wing". The new mold is now three grams heavier than the old mold( 30-31 grams VS 33 grams on the new mold), making it significantly useful in defense customizations. Therefore, The recommendations are the first mold for stamina customizations and the second mold for defense customizations
Note: All Hasbro Earth Fusion Wheels are EARTH MOLD 2
This Fusion Wheel should be used in defense AND stamina combos as it holds two very special molds.

Spin Track: GB145 (Gravity Bowl/Ball 145)
Weight: 4.5 grams
GB145 has something that no other tracks have: metal balls. When spinning rapidly, the metal balls in GB145's base roll up the ramps inside to a position closer to the outside of the blade. This gives a higher center of gravity and increased stability, due to a more uniform distribution of overall weight. As the blade slows down, the force of gravity overcomes the centrifugal force and the metal balls roll back down the ramps towards the center of the blade. This hampers balance and stability, but increases spin time. The concept is to essentially remain motionless (in the lateral plane) for the first half of the battle, and then outlast the opponent's blade near the end. This track has also been put into a top-tier defense combo, Earth/Basalt Bull GB145WB/WD Beyblades that have this part: -Earth Virgo GB145BS |
Performance Tip: BS (Ball Sharp)
The difference between the S tip and BS are very little.
This tip once again shows no little movement and no or little attack potential.
The pointed tip allows for very little friction, hence making loss of spin
velocity. The tip has decent stamina, but as mentioned with the S tip, since
the tip is so fine it will get knocked off balance easily and as said will
suffer the same fate as S. The D and SD are much better choices.
